Release 2.0.5:

• QuickTime Display Offset: The PhotoJazz QT image decompressor was enhanced to accommodate an alternate method of specifying the display offset used by some applications in certain environments.

Release 2.0.4:

• QuickTime Exporting on Windows: The PhotoJazz QT image exporter was augmented to support additional Windows-specific RGB[A] pixel formats.

Release 2.0.3:

• PhotoJazz QT for Windows Release: The first public release of PhotoJazz QT for QuickTime on Windows is now available.
• PhotoJazz XT for Windows Release: The first public release of PhotoJazz XT for QuarkXPress on Windows is now available.
• 16-bit Channel Support on Windows: Support for 16-bit channels has been added to PhotoJazz, PhotoJazz QT, PhotoJazz XT, the BitJazz engine, and the BitJazz SDK on Windows.

Release 2.0.2:

• Photosop Brightness: Photoshop 4 incorrectly sets the maximum sample value to 0, causing images to be displayed black. This release adds a workaround.

Release 2.0.1:

• Installer Version Fix: This release fixes a version-checking problem in the installer affecting PhotoJazz 2.0 beta customers.

Release 2.0.0:

• PhotoJazz QT for QuickTime Release: The first public release of PhotoJazz QT for QuickTime on Power Macintosh is now available.
• PhotoJazz XT for QuarkXPress: The first public release of PhotoJazz XT for QuarkXPress on Power Macintosh is now available.

• Initial Windows PhotoJazz Release: The first public cross-platform release of PhotoJazz for Windows (95/98/NT) and Power Macintosh was made available.
• Initial Windows BitJazz SDK Release: The first public cross-platform release of the BitJazz SDK for Windows (95/98/NT) and Power Macintosh was made available.

Release 1.0.5:

• Product Line Reconfiguration: PhotoJazz has been unbundled from BitJazz Tools, and split into two product/price levels: PhotoJazz Pro, with full write capability; and PhotoJazz Lite, which only outputs RGB files without watermarking.
• Lab Support: Support for the CIE L*a*b* color model has been added to PhotoJazz and the BitJazz engine.

Release 1.0.4:

• Initial SDK Release: A complete BitJazz Software Development Kit has been added, enabling all application developers and plug-in developers to add PhotoJazz support to their product lines. The thoroughly documented SDK is available free of charge.

Release 1.0.3:

• Appearance Manager Fix: The Personalize BitJazz Tools application no longer depends on the presence of the Macintosh Appearance Manager.

Release 1.0.2:

• Minimum Compression: The BitJazz engine was enhanced to ensure that the compression ratio never falls below 1:1 even for completely random noise.

Release 1.0.1:

• ICC Profile Fix: A workaround was found for a bug in Adobe Photoshop's programming interface which had prevented plug-ins from saving ICC color profiles.

Release 1.0.0:

• Initial Release: The first public release of BitJazz Tools was made available for Power Macintosh.
