1The 256 Colors bit depth
is not supported by PhotoJazz.
It is listed in the Bit Depth pop-up because QuickTime does not distinguish here
between 8-bit grayscale and 8-bit color.
For perfect-fidelity compression of the original,
you must set the Compression Bit Depth to the same depth as the original, or greater.
The Spatial Quality slider
on the Compress card has no effect on PhotoJazz, which is always perfect fidelity (100%),
corresponding to a quality of 1024 in the source window caption.
PhotoJazz, while ideal for perfect-fidelity archival,
is not suitable for real-time movie playback on today's computers except for very small-format movies,
because PhotoJazz is optimized for maximum perfect-fidelity compression, rather than for speed.
Thus Autodesk Cleaner's Frame Rate menu, which encompasses the standard movie range,
is generally not relevant for playback of PhotoJazz QuickTime movies.
If you are using PhotoJazz to archive a movie, choose the appropriate rate for the real-time playable movie.
If you are using PhotoJazz to create a slide show, you can type in a frame rate, such as "1" frame per second,
in the edit-text field to the left of the Frame Rate menu.
