Autodesk Cleaner
Troubleshooting

If you try to add a PhotoJazz image to a Autodesk Cleaner batch, and a question mark is displayed in place of an image icon, and the Name/Type field persists in saying "(Unknown)", or you try to view it or process it and get the error message:

Unable to open movie No movie found (ID = -2048)

then PhotoJazz may not have been properly installed.

On a Power Macintosh, make sure that:

  1. The BitJazz shared library (or a valid alias to it) is in the "System Folder:Extensions" folder or in the "Autodesk Cleaner".
  2. The PhotoJazz QT file (or a valid alias to it) is in the "System Folder:Extensions:QuickTime Extensions" folder.

If not, reinstall PhotoJazz 2 with InstallPhotoJazz or install these items by hand, restart the computer, and try again. If you still experience problems, please contact BitJazz Customer Service at servicebitjazz.com.

In Windows, make sure that:

  1. A copy of the BitJazz.dll dynamically linked library is in the "Windows\system32" folder.
  2. A copy of the PhotoJazz QT.qtx file is in the "Windows\system32\QuickTime" folder.

If not, reinstall PhotoJazz 2 with PhotoJazzSetup.exe or install these items by hand, restart the computer, and try again. If you still experience problems, please contact BitJazz Customer Service at servicebitjazz.com.
