PhotoJazz User Manual Adobe PhotoshopTroubleshooting
If you try to open a PhotoJazz image with Photoshop and the PhotoJazz image file does not show up in the Open dialog,
or you get the error message:
Could not open "Image.jzz" because of a problem with the Macintosh Code Fragment Manager.
or if you try to save an image or a copy of an image as PhotoJazz format
and PhotoJazz does not show up in the Format pop-up menu in the Save dialog, or you get the error message:
Could not save as "Image.jzz" because of a problem with the Macintosh Code Fragment Manager.
then PhotoJazz may not have been properly installed.
On a Power Macintosh,
make sure that:

The
BitJazz
shared library (or a valid alias to it) is in the
" System Folder: Extensions" folder
or in the "Adobe Photoshop" folder.

The
PhotoJazz Plug-In (or a valid alias to it) is in the "Adobe Photoshop:Plug-Ins:File Formats" folder.
If not, reinstall PhotoJazz 2 with InstallPhotoJazz
or install these items by hand, restart the computer, and try again.
If you still experience problems, please contact BitJazz Customer Service at service bitjazz.com.
In Windows, make sure that:

A copy of the
BitJazz.dll dynamically linked library is in the "Windows\system32" folder
or in the "Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop" folder.

A copy of the
PhotoJazz.8bi Plug-In
is in the "Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop\Plug-Ins\File Formats" folder.
If not, reinstall PhotoJazz 2 with
PhotoJazzSetup.exe or install these items by hand, restart the computer, and try again.
