
PhotoJazz User Manual Apple PictureViewerOpening
Once PhotoJazz is properly installed, you can use PictureViewer to open any PhotoJazz image file,
just as you can for any other image type supported by PictureViewer.
Opening: To open a PhotoJazz image with PictureViewer:

Select File > Open
in PictureViewer to open the Open dialog.

Select the PhotoJazz image file.

Click Open to open the image.
or

Drag the PhotoJazz image's file icon and drop it on PictureViewer's application icon in the Macintosh Finder or Windows Explorer.
You can open multiple PhotoJazz images by dragging all their icons onto the PictureViewer icon.
or, if the PhotoJazz image was created by PictureViewer (creator 'ogle'),
in which case it probably has a PictureViewer PhotoJazz icon
and File > Get Info
in the Macintosh Finder or File > Properties in Windows Explorer
says it's a PictureViewer document,

Double-click on the PhotoJazz image's file icon in the Macintosh Finder or Windows Explorer.
or

Select the PhotoJazz image file in the Macintosh Finder or Windows Explorer.

Select File > Open.
You can open multiple PhotoJazz images from the Macintosh Finder or Windows Explorer
by selecting them all and then double-clicking on any of them or selecting File > Open.
While PictureViewer is opening the PhotoJazz image,
the PhotoJazz decompressor's progressive display feature displays the tiles on the fly as they are decompressed.
If the PhotoJazz image file has been corrupted, whether due to storage medium failure or transmission errors,
the data integrity verification feature of the PhotoJazz plug-in will tell you as soon as it detects evidence of corruption.
