
PhotoJazz User Manual Apple PictureViewerTroubleshooting
If you try to open a PhotoJazz image with PictureViewer and get the error message:
Couldn't display "Image.jzz" because a suitable graphics importer could not be found.
or if you try to export an image in PhotoJazz format and get the error message:
Couldn't export "Image.jzz" because of an error. The number of the error is -2804.
then PhotoJazz may not have been properly installed.
On a Power Macintosh, make sure that:

The
BitJazz shared library (or a valid alias to it) is in the
" System Folder: Extensions" folder
or in the "QuickTime Folder".

The
PhotoJazz QT file (or a valid alias to it) is in the " System Folder: Extensions: QuickTime Extensions" folder.
If not, reinstall PhotoJazz 2 with
InstallPhotoJazz
or install these items by hand, restart the computer, and try again.

In Windows, make sure that:

A copy of the
BitJazz.dll dynamically linked library is in the "Windows\system32" folder.

A copy of the
PhotoJazz QT.qtx file is in the "Windows\system32\QuickTime" folder.
If not, reinstall PhotoJazz 2 with
PhotoJazzSetup.exe or install these items by hand, restart the computer, and try again.
