If you try to open a PhotoJazz image file with QuarkXPress and the PhotoJazz image file does not show up in the Open dialog, or the XTensions Loading Error dialog appears with the error message:

XTensions software will not function because the PhotoJazz XT library could not be found.

then PhotoJazz may not have been properly installed.

On a Power Macintosh, make sure that:

1. The BitJazz shared library (or a valid alias to it) is in the "System Folder:Extensions" folder or in the "QuarkXPress Folder".
2. The PhotoJazz XT extensions module (or a valid alias to it) is in the "QuarkXPress Folder:XTension" folder.

If not, reinstall PhotoJazz 2 with InstallPhotoJazz or install these items by hand, restart the computer, and try again. If you still experience problems, please contact BitJazz Customer Service at servicebitjazz.com.

In Windows, make sure that:

1. A copy of the BitJazz.dll dynamically linked library is in the "Windows\system32" folder or in the "Program Files\QuarkXPress" folder.
2. A copy of the PhotoJazz XT.xnt extensions module is in the "Program Files\QuarkXPress\XTension" folder.
