
PhotoJazz User Manual Apple QuickTime PlayerTroubleshooting
If you try to open a PhotoJazz image with QuickTime Player and get the error message:
Couldn't open the file "Image.jzz" because it is not a file that QuickTime understands.
or if you try to export an image sequence and selecting PhotoJazz in the Format pop-up menu dismisses the Export Image Sequence Settings dialog,
or if you try to export a movie or image sequence and PhotoJazz doesn't show up in the Compressor pop-up menu,
then PhotoJazz may not have been properly installed.
On a Power Macintosh,
make sure that:

The
BitJazz shared library (or a valid alias to it) is in the
" System Folder: Extensions" folder
or in the "QuickTime Folder".

The
PhotoJazz QT file (or a valid alias to it) is in the
" System Folder: Extensions: QuickTime Extensions" folder.
If not, reinstall PhotoJazz 2 with
InstallPhotoJazz
or install these items by hand, restart the computer, and try again.

In Windows, make sure that:

A copy of the
BitJazz.dll dynamically linked library is in the "Windows\system32" folder.

A copy of the
PhotoJazz QT.qtx file is in the "Windows\system32\QuickTime" folder.
If not, reinstall PhotoJazz 2 with PhotoJazzSetup.exe
or install these items by hand, restart the computer, and try again.
