General
To use PhotoJazz, you need the following hardware and software:
An Apple® Power Macintosh® or compatible computer running
 Mac OS version 7.5 or later;
or
An Intel® Pentium® or compatible computer running
 Microsoft®
Windows® 95 or Windows 98 or later,
or Windows NT® 4.0 or later, or Windows 2000 or later.
and either
A color monitor with a 16-bit (thousands of colors) or, preferably,
24-bit (millions of colors) video display card for color images
or
A greyscale monitor with an 8-bit (256-color) display card if you work only with grayscale and duotone images.

PhotoJazz QT
To use PhotoJazz QT (new in version 2), you need the following software:
 QuickTime 4+
for viewing  ;
QuickTime Pro for output.
and either
any application support QuickTime's Movie protocol, of which there are far too many to list here;
or
any application supporting QuickTime's Still Image protocol,
of which there are likewise far too many to list here.
