Once SheerVideo Pro and QuickTime are properly installed, After Effects will let you use its QuickTime Export facility to compress a movie or image with SheerVideo as a

• SheerVideo QuickTime Movie (.mov or .MooV) file
• SheerVideo QuickDraw Picture Sequence (sequence of PICT files)
• SheerVideo QuickTime Image Sequence (sequence of QTIF files)

Note that the QuickTime Export facility in After Effects Pro is limited to RGB[A] 8b output, even if the project is set to 16 bits/channel. For higher-precision RGB[A] sources or for any Y'CbCr[A] sources, you should instead use After Effects Pro's Rendering Queue, to avoid degrading the image.
