SheerVideo's compression power ranges from 1.79 in image 13 to 2.46 in image 03, averaging 2.20.
SheerVideo's space savings ranges from 44% to 59%, averaging around 54%.

If you want to reproduce these results, the codec settings we used were set to the highest quality wherever there was a choice.
Specifically:
Animation: Millions of Colors, Best Quality, Key Frame every frame.
Note that, when encoding in Millions of Colors, the Animation decoder sets alpha to 0 instead of 255.
Using Millions of Colors+ to preserve an empty alpha channel set to 255 (opaque) reduces the compression to 0.80.
Microcosm: Millions of Colors, Full Guess Colors, Full Guess Encoding
PhotoJazz: Millions of Colors
PNG: Millions of Colors, Best Quality, Non-Interlaced, Best Filter
QuickDraw: Apple's QuickDraw Codec appears to be decompression-only.
The QuickDraw version of the movie was obtained by saving the individual frames as RGB PICT files from Adobe Photoshop,
and then importing the image sequence into QuickTime.
